Hello and welcome to my workspace and portfolio. I am a designer, creative, and pursuer of knowledge. I was born in South Korea and grew up in Chicago, constantly grabbing huge stacks of printer paper and sketching for hours. Making stories, designs and comics helped me naturally discover how to create stability in the chaos. I went to art school to pursue interdisciplinary studies and ended up falling in love with industrial design. I was always good at the traditional pen and paper but translating the 2D into 3D was a challenge that brought meaning to the stacks of paper filled with ideas.

I spent my time at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago expanding both my art and design practice. I've worn many hats in my life including a Pre-K teacher and AV tech that taught me things I couldn't experience in a college class; what it means to put your heart into work, how to work with others, what makes good work, and what comes from it. As an AV tech, I fell in love with learning how technology works together and helping other creatives translate their work through digital media. Work has never just been work but a way for me to take the abstract and make it functional and efficient. Thank you for taking the time to get to know me!
